Gameday
Gameday is the all-in-one app built by Football Studio to help coaching staffs run visit days — checking recruits in, keeping the day's schedule visible, and messaging the staff. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
When you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and school affiliation. As you use the app, you enter visitor and recruit data such as name, position, graduation year, current school, host, area and position coach, family information, and notes, along with arrival status when a recruit is checked in. You also enter your school's day-of schedule (event names and times) and send team chat and direct messages to other staff on your account.
Visitor and player records are shared across the Football Studio apps your school uses — for example, a recruit's measurements scanned in Scoutr appear on the same record in Gameday. This data stays scoped to your school; it is not shared with other schools, and it is never used for advertising or sold.
We collect basic technical information needed to operate the app and diagnose problems — such as device type, OS version, and app crash or error logs. We do not use this information for advertising or behavioral tracking.
If you allow notifications, your device gives us an Apple-issued device token, which we store alongside your user id so we can alert you when a team or direct message arrives. If you keep a Live Activity running, the same schedule data you already have access to is shown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — what's in session now and what's next — until the day's activity ends or you remove it. The token identifies your device to Apple's Push Notification service, not you personally. You can turn notifications off at any time in the iOS Settings app; the app remains fully usable without them.
We use the information above to provide Gameday's core features: signing you in, syncing your school's roster, schedule, and chat across devices, showing who has checked in, notifying you about your own messages, keeping your Lock Screen schedule current, and troubleshooting issues you report. We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell it.
Rosters, schedules, and chat are scoped to your school and visible to the coaches and staff signed in under that school; we do not share your school's data with other schools. We use third-party infrastructure providers solely to store and process data on our behalf, under obligations to protect it and never for their own independent purposes: Amazon Web Services for cloud hosting, and Apple's Push Notification service to deliver the notifications and Live Activity updates described above.
We retain your account, roster, schedule, and chat data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a visitor or schedule entry in the app removes it from your school's data; the underlying record may be retained for a limited period to support recovery and data integrity, then permanently purged. Notification tokens are retained while they remain valid for delivering your notifications. You can request permanent deletion of your account and its data by contacting us below.
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted network transport, access-controlled cloud infrastructure, and storage of your login token in the iOS Keychain — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong device passcode and keep your login credentials confidential.
You can review, edit, or delete the visitors and schedule entries you've entered at any time from within the app. You can allow or deny notifications from the iOS Settings app, and end a Live Activity at any time from the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. You can sign out from the profile screen, and you may request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by contacting us below.
Gameday is intended for use by coaching staff members who are adults; it is not directed at children, and accounts are not created by or for children. Many visitors tracked in the app are high school student-athletes who may be minors — this data is entered by coaching staff, not by the recruits themselves, and is used solely to help staff run visit days, never for advertising or sold to third parties.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
